Board of your Games?
Christian Board Games
If you’re tired of your same old board games, or looking for something new to do with friends or family, there are a lot more christian board game options out there that you might think. For many of the top board games , there are Bible or Christian versions available. For instance, many people are surprised to learn that there is : Apples to Apples Bible Edition (Apples to Apples is one of my favorite new games- great with a group), Bible Mad Gab
,Outburst-Bible Edition
, and Bible Scattergories
.
I find playing boardgames a great alternative to watching TV for a family activity. There is always more conversation, more fun, and more laughter. Many of the Christian Boardgames will also help players to learn more about characters and places in the Bible.

Strategy Board Games
If you’re looking for boardgames that aren’t the typical ones that you would find at a department store, here are a couple of suggestions: The Settlers of Catan, and Ticket to Ride. These are games that can be learned quickly, but offer a multitude of strategies that will give you enjoyment of these games time after time.
I tend to enjoy boardgames with a bit of strategy, but I find everyone has their favorites. I think the sign of a great board game is one that even if you lose, you’re itching to play it again.
Make a Game
Sequence is a relatively quick and challenging game. If you would like to make the game yourself, check out these directions at Ehow. I find the game is easy enough for kids, and also interesting enough for adults. It is also a great to player game. For two to six players
